Mower

Last week, I tried to mow my lawn, but the mower wouldn't start. My sister decided that we needed to get the thing tuned up, so, we went and got a new spark plug, oil, air filter, fuel stabilizer. We couldn't figure out where the air filter went, but, we tried to start it up anyway. Nothing.

I ended up "mowing" the back with the weed wacker.

But, the wacker is inconvenient for the front, and it's not a long term solution. I need to either find someone who has a truck I can use to transport the mower to get fixed, or I need to figure out how to afford a lawn service. Any ideas?

You could try a push reel mower for $50-100. It's easier and cheaper to maintain. Here's one on Craigslist: http://denver.craigslist.org/for/1706987970.html

Yeah. I'm going to admit, I don't have the upper body strength to make those work. It's not a bad idea, but, I have tried.

Yikes! Double your displeasure! Somedays I wish I had gotten a truck instead of a sedan.
