I'd be sad to see Slayerfest go, though I can't say that I've been much help in large-scale attendance in the past, and I'm probably going to be in NY for at least most of Memorial Day weekend again this year. Ideas for shaking it up? I've thought about doing something Gilmore, or you could do something V Mars, if you wanted to stay TV-oriented. If you did something like Battlestar Galactica or Gilmore Girls, that at least a chunk of your friends know well, it could take some of the burden off you and be more collaborative, allowing you to actually participate in the games. For example, I now own Seasons 1, 3, and 4 of GG on DVD, and would be happy to pitch in. Or do you want it to be Whedon-centric? If you wanted to stick with something Buffy/Angel, what about incorporating the comic/g-novels and maybe changing the format (e.g. instead of one wall-to-wall weekend, what about a combination of in-person and decentralized events over a week or month, so that you could get some of your non-Denver Whedon group involved)?
