Just an idea--- it sounds like you're at a "proposal" stage. Might I recommend, as someone who works in publishing, that you pull together a proposal for a book or multimedia source and shop it around to some likely publishers. (I'm sure you have an idea who they would be.) They'll have the resources to market-test the idea, and can give you 1- an idea if this is something that would be worth your effort and 2- some help in crafting it in a direction that would pay off. The problem with publishers is that they generally want some input into content, but they really can offer the kind of support that it would sound like you are looking for.
