Next week is "Upfront Week," when the networks reveal their upcoming schedules. It's when we, the viewing public find out which pilots got picked up, and which "on the bubble shows" get renewed or dropped. Of course, even before that happens, a few choice tidbits leek out, these are usually unofficial, but, generally strong indicators.

I saw this on CNN, and it made me mad. Microsoft's setting up a PC security service.

The reason it irks me so, is that so many of the security problems are their own darn fault. So, now, I pay to have them fix the software that they sold me in a broken state? Granted, no software can be hack-proof, and the ubiquitous nature of Microsoft's empire makes them a more desirable target, but, it smacks of throwing good money after bad.
